Cal State Fullerton kicks off its 2025 cross country season this Saturday as it plays host to the Mark Covert Classic, August 30th on campus.
The Titans will compete against Chapman, Mt SAC, College of Southern Nevada and UNLV as well as club teams from Cal Coast, Valor Track Club and the Lion Distance Club.
The Titans, under the guidance of first-year distance coach Jorge Jabaz and veteran meet director Marques Barosso, were the runners-up at the men's 2024 Big West Championships while the women logged a ninth-place finish.
Nathaniel Avila is the leading returner for the Titans, logging a 23rd place finish at the conference meet while senior Bella Smith was 29th for the Titans at the Big West meet and is it's top returner from the 2024 campaign.
