A new twist to start the 2025 harrier campaign, the Sea Hawks Cross Country Relay begins Saturday, August 23 at 8am with the Girls Open race.
After two boys open races, the Girls Varsity 15k relay (with 5 athletes running 3k each) commences at 9:05am. Then, the Boys Varsity race begins at 10:25am.

With the new early start to the season, we’re thrilled to launch our Sea Hawks Cross Country Relay at Redondo Union High School, just blocks from the ocean. This meet features a unique 15k relay race with five-person teams. Each member will run a 3k leg in relay fashion, passing a team wristband from runner to runner until all five legs are completed.
This event offers a fresh and exciting challenge amidst your busy season of high-pressure meets. It’s a fantastic opportunity to practice team dynamics, packing, and strategies in a completely different format.

The meet will be highlighted by traditional Bay League powers Mira Costa, Peninsula and the hosts Redondo Union in addition to Pioneer League rivals Torrance South and Torrance West.
